COMMON SPACES CATERING
Hiring our Common Spaces for your event? Several options are available to cater your group on the day.
Our Common Spaces are a community meeting place - you are welcome to bring your own food and non-alcoholic drinks. Please note, we do not yet have community kitchen facilities and so a few T&Cs apply:
Your hire is for a not-for-profit organisation, a community group or event, or a private social event (eg, birthday parties, celebrations). Corporate events are via consultation.
We recommend bringing picnic-style food that is best served cold (e.g. sandwiches, dips, sweets, pastries, fruit, salads and veggies) as there are no heating or cooking facilities on-site. No heating or cooking facilities may be brought on-site. Food must be brought in already prepared, unfortunately we cannot permit external caterer setups on-site. A sink is available for limited washing up.
Due to the current on-premises liquor license absolutely no alcohol is to be brought on-site. Alcoholic beverages can be bought from acre eatery, either pre-ordered, or from the bar on the day.
For hirers bringing their own food and non-alcoholic beverages, all serving equipment must be brought in and taken off site. In keeping with our aims for improved sustainability on-site, please choose paper and other recyclable or compostable items, not plastic. We have a limited number of plates, glasses, cutlery and other items are available for hire by enquiry.
Food brought onto the premises based on above conditions cannot be resold or retailed on site.
Camperdown Commons’ on-site restaurant acre eatery can provide catering for your event. They offer a variety of function menus including set menus, canapés packages and farmers tables. Beverages are generally charged on consumption. Groups of 50 guests or more can opt for a drinks package at $20pp/hour. This includes house wines, house beer, and non-alcoholic drinks.
