Explore Nature with Pocket City Farms’ Early Childhood Program

Introducing the early childhood program at Pocket City Farms, where we nurture young minds with the wonders of nature. Tailored for children up to age 5, our workshops are a blend of storytelling, dramatic play, and art, designed to introduce the basics of seeds, food growth, and sustainability. Situated in the heart of the city, our urban market garden offers the perfect backdrop for hands-on learning experiences that engage toddlers and preschoolers in nature.

What Makes Our Program Unique?

  1. Innovative Learning Approach: Our curriculum is crafted to spark curiosity and engagement in young learners, using storytelling and dramatic play to make complex concepts of nature and sustainability accessible and fun.

  2. Hands-On Garden Exploration: Children get to explore our urban market garden, offering them a tactile and immersive experience in learning about plant growth, food sources, and the importance of caring for our environment.

  3. Artistic Expression: Each workshop incorporates art activities, allowing children to express their learning and observations creatively, reinforcing their connection to the natural world.

  4. Ideal for Private Groups: Whether you’re part of a parents group or a community organization, our program provides an enriching educational experience, fostering early appreciation for the environment among young learners.
