Under the current restrictions on public gatherings, all our community workshops and events are postponed until further notice.

If you would like to be notified when this event will be going ahead in the future,  please add your name and contact details to the wait list.

Whether a child creates a prize winning piece of art, or something with less finesse, handmade gifts are what mothers treasure. On display, or tucked away, handmade gifts mark a moment in a child’s development that a parent can revisit over time, reliving for a moment, or thanking their lucky stars that tricky bit has passed!

Come join us in decorating a cotton veg storage bag for Mum!

To celebrate the mothers in our community, we’re welcoming children to a workshop that celebrates the bounty of the season, living joyful sustainability, and celebrating mothers! Together mothers and children will harvest delicious carrots on the farm, and then children will get to paint a cotton vegetable storage bag to keep veggies fresh in the fridge. It can be gifted straight away, or saved to give for Mother's Day!

Suitable for: Children of all ages, participating with an adult

Cost: $35

Provided: A bunch of organically grown carrots, a cotton vegetable storage bag and painting supplies to decorate it

Bring: Enthusiasm!
