AN ENVIRONMENTALLY-CONSCIOUS EVENT WITH FAIR FOOD PRODUCE, FARM-RELATED WORKSHOPS AND MARKET STALLS FROM LOCAL SUSTAINABILITY INITIATIVES, SMALL BUSINESSES, community groups AND SOCIAL ENTERPRISES.
On Saturday 20th June 2026 we are hosting a Winter Solstice Festival at Pocket City Farms (co-located with Camperdown Commons). This year we are also celebrating Pocket City Farms 10th Anniversary! Part birthday party, part winter solstice celebration and ALL things farm!
WHAT’S HAPPENING
Join us at Camperdown Commons for family-friendly festivities including:
Welcome to country and smoking ceremony (12.30pm)
Workshops for kids and adults
Farm tours
Market Stalls
Facepainting
Lantern making workshop followed by lantern parade around the farm at 5.30pm
Food, music and fire

Suggested Donation $20 for adults, $10 concession, $5 children.
No-one turned away for lack of funds, free tickets available.

ACCESSIBILITY
The site, including bathrooms, are wheelchair and pram accessible.
All locations for market stalls, farm tours, workshops, and ceremony are wheelchair and pram accessible.
Workshops and markets are under cover, but farm tours will be exposed to the elements - please bring an umbrella if rain is forecast!
GETTING HERE
There is limited, timed street parking on Mallett St, Pidcock St, and in the carpark between Pocket City Farms and Camperdown Oval.
We recommend accessing via public transport, or riding a bike. There are bike bays available for bike parking.
