Did you know that parsley is said to mask garlic breath? It’s worth growing just to try! A great kitchen staple, and as an annual you can sow seeds every few weeks for a successional harvest.

Between September and May.

HARVEST

Parsley takes 4 to 7 weeks to grow after planting – you can start harvesting from your plants as soon as they reach at least 6 inches tall. Begin harvesting outside stems first and cut stems close to ground. Harvest parsley regularly – the more you pick denser it grows.

Parsley is perfect for making tabbouleh as well as flavouring pasta and meat dishes

PRESERVE

Pick the leaves and spread out on a tray in direct sunlight. Parsley will dry quite quickly.
