PRIMARY SCHOOL EXCURSIONS
LITTLE HANDS, BIG DISCOVERIES
From exploring garden beds to discovering the creatures that help our food grow, students experience the farm through observation, exploration and practical activities.
Our primary school excursions are designed to spark curiosity, encourage questions and help children understand the connections between soil, plants, food and the world around them.

Our educational excursions turn the urban farm into a living classroom. Through fun and experiential learning, students dive into regenerative agriculture using real-world inquiry — aligned with the NSW Science & Technology and Geography syllabuses.
A standard 2-hour excursion rotates smaller groups through 3-4 activities selected and customised specific to your learning stage and goals. Longer 3 or 4-hour visits are also available, and may include a hands-on farming session.

-
Our farm is largely wheelchair accessible, with wide pathways around the market gardens, access ramps, and accessible toilets. Please note some market garden pathways are too narrow for wheelchairs, and gravel areas may be slippery or muddy after rain. We recommend wheelchair users visit with a support person. Please let us know if anyone in your group has accessibility needs so we can adapt the excursion to suit.
