This root vegetable comes from a species of Sunflower. They have a nutty flavour with a hint of artichoke and are delicious pickled, roasted, or even raw. They have beneficial health properties due to their high levels of inulin and essential vitamins.
Please note, inulin may cause mild digestive upset in some people. If this is the case for you, try Jerusalem Artichokes boiled in lemon juice or pickled.

This item is available for pickup only. All produce orders must be placed by 5pm on Wednesdays for pickup that week. Any orders placed after 5pm on Wednesday will be for the following week. Please choose one of these three pickup windows: Thursday 12.30pm-1.30pm, Friday 12.30pm-1.30pm, or Saturday 8.30-9.30am.
