Komatsuna is a variety of Japanese Mustard Greens, also known as Mustard Spinach. They have a very mild, sweet, mustard flavour and are delicious and versatile to cook with. Try them fresh, steamed, stir fried, blanched, or sauteed. It is best not to overcook them to retain their texture and flavour. You can use it similarly to spinach, bok choi, or cabbage.
All Pocket City Farms produce is grown using ecological methods, without the use of synthetic sprays or fertilisers, in well-tested soil.
This item is available for pickup only. All produce orders must be placed by 5pm on Wednesdays for pickup that week. Any orders placed after 5pm on Wednesday will be for the following week. Please choose one of these three pickup windows: Thursday 12.30pm-1.30pm, Friday 12.30pm-1.30pm, or Saturday 8.30-9.30am.
